- Senior engineers on every ticket, no first line script readers
- 30 day rolling contract on Bronze and Silver, no long term lock in
The boring work that keeps production calm.
Maintenance, in plain terms.
Laravel maintenance and support is the ongoing engineering work that keeps a production application healthy, secure, and improving after launch. Security patches for Laravel core, PHP, and Composer dependencies. Performance monitoring and slow query fixes. Uptime monitoring and incident response when something breaks. Code audits to catch technical debt before it becomes a rewrite. Small feature iteration that the in house team does not have bandwidth for.
Acquaint Softtech is an Official Laravel Partner, ISO 27001 certified, and runs maintenance on production Laravel applications across SaaS, fintech, healthcare, and eCommerce since 2007. Our SLA tiers are written, our response times are tracked, and the engineer handling your ticket has at least seven years of Laravel experience.
Signals your app needs a real maintenance partner.
Most applications start without dedicated maintenance, then need it the day a security patch lands or a queue worker quietly stops processing. If three or more of these apply, it is time.
The original development team is no longer available, or moved on to other projects. Security patches are being skipped because no one has time to test them. Performance is degrading slowly month over month and nobody is sure why. The hosting bill keeps growing without traffic growing. You have no on call coverage if production breaks at 2 am. Composer dependencies have not been updated in over a year. There is no documented incident response process if something fails.
Three published tiers. Pick the one that fits.
Concrete SLAs, written contracts, transparent pricing. No hidden hour banks, no usage tricks. Bronze for steady state apps, Silver for active products, Gold for growth phase where new features ship every week.

Not just patching. The full set of work that keeps an application healthy, secure, and improving without surprises.
Security patching
Laravel core, PHP runtime, and Composer dependency patches applied within the SLA window. Zero day vulnerabilities patched out of cycle across all tiers.
Performance monitoring
Laravel Pulse for real time performance, Telescope for request tracing, Sentry for error tracking, and CloudWatch or Grafana dashboards for the operations team.
Uptime monitoring & alerts
Synthetic monitoring on critical paths, real time alerts through PagerDuty or Opsgenie, and documented escalation paths for P1, P2, and P3 incidents.
Incident response
Documented runbooks, post incident reviews within 48 hours of resolution, root cause analysis written and shared, and action items tracked through closure.
Code health reports
Larastan static analysis findings, Pest coverage trends, outdated dependency lists, and technical debt tracked over time so it does not silently compound.
Feature iteration
Protected monthly hours for small feature work, bug fixes, and enhancements. Tracked sprint by sprint with sign off before any code is shipped to production.
Infrastructure management
Forge, Vapor, AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean managed under your IAM. Infrastructure stays in your accounts, your billing, your ownership.
Backup & disaster recovery
Automated backups with point in time recovery, monthly restore verification, and documented disaster recovery procedures tested at the cadence per tier.
Delivery accountability from leadership.
Acquaint Softtech maintenance is run as a governed delivery function, not a ticket queue. Here is who owns SLA performance and engineer assignment.

Six steps from contract to first patch.
Most maintenance engagements go live within two weeks. The boring parts (runbook documentation, access provisioning, monitoring setup) are what make the response times actually hold.
Audit & SLA Selection
Application audit covering codebase health, dependency status, infrastructure, monitoring, and current operational gaps. SLA tier recommended honestly based on findings.
Contract & Access
SLA contract signed, NDA in place, IAM access provisioned to your repository, hosting, and monitoring tools. Senior engineer assigned and introduced.
Runbook Documentation
Existing knowledge transferred to a shared runbook covering deployment process, incident escalation, monitoring playbook, and rollback procedures.
Monitoring & Baseline
Pulse, Telescope, Sentry, and PagerDuty configured if not already. Baseline metrics captured (P95 latency, error rate, queue depth) and SLA thresholds set.
First Patch Cycle
First security patching cycle within two weeks of contract start. Existing technical debt mapped and prioritised. Quick wins shipped early to build trust.
Ongoing Operations
Monthly reports covering SLA performance, incidents, patches shipped, and upcoming work. Quarterly tier review to check if your needs have outgrown the current SLA.

24 month Gold tier engagement keeping a property platform at 99.97% uptime
"Acquaint took over our Laravel platform after our previous agency disappeared. Two years in we have shipped 18 feature releases, zero unplanned downtime over 14 days at a time, and we sleep through Black Friday weekend without checking Slack."
A long established property listing platform with CRM, automated valuation, and a mobile responsive agent portal had been built over five years on Laravel by a previous agency. The previous team disappeared, leaving an undocumented codebase, an outdated Laravel 8 install with known CVEs, and no monitoring beyond Pingdom. The platform handled 12,000 agent users and 80,000 monthly property searches, so downtime was directly hitting revenue.
Gold tier engagement starting with a two week audit and runbook documentation sprint. Laravel core upgraded from 8 to 11 within the first quarter. Pulse, Telescope, Sentry, and PagerDuty deployed for monitoring. Composer dependency tree cleaned up, 47 outdated packages updated, three abandoned packages replaced. Weekly feature work shipped through a rolling sprint, with 60 protected hours per month. Quarterly architecture reviews drove gradual modularisation of the catalog and CRM modules. 24 months in, the engagement is still active and the platform has not had an unplanned downtime over 14 days at a stretch.

What is included in Laravel maintenance?
Laravel maintenance covers seven core areas. One, security patching for Laravel core, PHP, and dependencies. Two, performance monitoring through Pulse and Telescope with monthly reports. Three, uptime monitoring and incident response. Four, code audits and refactoring of accumulated technical debt. Five, dependency upgrades and Composer audit fixes. Six, backup verification and disaster recovery testing. Seven, ongoing feature iteration and small enhancements. Specific scope per tier sits in the SLA section above.
-
How much does Laravel maintenance cost monthly?
Our Bronze tier starts at $1,200 per month and covers steady state applications with monthly security patching, uptime monitoring, and email support during business hours. Silver tier at $2,800 per month adds on call coverage, faster SLA response, monthly code reviews, and small feature work. Gold tier at $5,500 per month covers active product growth with weekly feature iteration, 24x7 on call, quarterly architecture reviews, and a dedicated engineer. Enterprise tier is custom priced based on application size, integration count, and compliance requirements.
-
What SLA options do you offer for Laravel support?
Three published tiers and one custom enterprise tier. Bronze (response within 8 business hours, monthly patching, business hours support). Silver (response within 4 business hours, weekly patching, on call coverage during waking hours in your time zone). Gold (response within 1 hour for P1 incidents, 24x7 on call, dedicated engineer, weekly feature work). Enterprise tier with 30 minute P1 response, multi region support, dedicated team, and quarterly architecture reviews is priced per engagement.
-
Do you offer emergency Laravel support?
Yes. Silver and Gold tier clients have on call coverage with documented escalation paths. P1 incidents (production down, payment broken, data loss risk) get acknowledged within the SLA window and worked on continuously until resolution. For one off emergencies without a maintenance contract we offer rescue engagements priced at $250 per hour for the first 40 hours, then standard rates apply once the immediate fire is contained.
-
How often do you patch Laravel security issues?
Laravel core and security patches are applied within seven days of release for Silver and Gold tier clients, and within thirty days for Bronze tier. PHP runtime patches follow the same cadence. Composer dependency audits run weekly across all tiers with vulnerability scoring through GitHub Dependabot or Snyk. Critical zero day vulnerabilities trigger out of cycle patching across all tiers regardless of SLA window, because that risk does not respect schedules.
-
Is a code audit included in Laravel maintenance?
Bronze tier includes a quarterly code health report covering Larastan static analysis findings, test coverage trends, and outdated dependencies. Silver tier adds monthly code reviews on changes shipped in the previous month. Gold tier includes weekly code reviews and a quarterly architecture review with written recommendations. Full code audits as a standalone engagement are available for $4,000 to $12,000 depending on codebase size, regardless of maintenance tier.
-
What performance monitoring do you provide for Laravel?
Every maintenance engagement runs Laravel Pulse for real time application performance, Telescope for request and query tracing, and Sentry for error tracking. Silver and Gold tiers add custom dashboards in CloudWatch or Grafana, P95 and P99 latency budgets tracked against SLA, and slow query analysis with monthly improvement reports. Gold tier includes load testing twice a year to verify the application still holds its performance budget as it grows.
-
Can you bundle Laravel hosting with maintenance?
We do not host applications ourselves (we are not an infrastructure provider), but we manage hosting on your behalf on AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, Laravel Forge, or Laravel Vapor as part of every maintenance engagement. Infrastructure stays in your accounts under your billing, we manage it through your IAM. That keeps your costs transparent, avoids vendor lock in, and means you keep ownership of the infrastructure if you ever change maintenance partners.
-
What happens if we need to upgrade Laravel during maintenance?
Major Laravel version upgrades (Laravel 9 to 12, for example) are scoped as a separate engagement because they require dependency audits, regression testing, and careful planning. Silver and Gold tier clients get a 15 percent discount on upgrade engagements when handled by us. More on our Laravel upgrade service page.
-
Can we cancel the maintenance contract anytime?
Yes. Bronze and Silver tiers run on 30 day rolling contracts with no long term lock in. Gold tier runs on a 90 day rolling contract because we assign a dedicated engineer who needs onboarding time. Cancellation requires written notice within the rolling window. Source code, infrastructure, runbooks, and monitoring stay with you. No exit fees, no data hostage situations.
What teams usually pair with maintenance.
Maintenance often comes with adjacent work. Most clients combine it with one or more of these.
